This was taken inside the new entrance to Piccadilly station. The sun was streaming in but there is still a big backlighting problem.

Flood debris on the canal towpath. Bright day, fine detail.

Inside the lift, no flash.

This building was reflecting a lot of sun.

I tried to only include a little skey in this one. The side of the building is much clearer than one I took on a dull day. You can see coloured artifacts from the poor lens though.

Lock 88 filling up. Only the top of the picture was in direct sunlight and over exposed.

A little further back. Not too much sky to overexpose

The reflection in the puddle is not enough to overexpose this picture.

Again much more detail is evident.

Whilst the sky is over exposed somewhat, it has not obscured the detail on the chimney which was in full sunlight

Again, the sky is over exposed, the parts in full sunlight are visible, but the nearer walls are under exposed.
